With all the talk of the unlikely event that Melvin Ingram drops to 16, I raise the question, Who are you hoping to drop to us in the 2nd round? With all the holes in our team it is imperative that we get a 2nd rounder that can produce as a rookie. Here are some that I will be hoping to drop to us come draft day. (though unlikely)
1. Bobbie Massie, Mississippi, RT- Built to play RT. he will instantly be a major upgrade over Hunter and will be able to start from day 1. I've seen him go anywhere from pick 25-40. IMO he's our "Ingram" of the 2nd round. If he falls to 47, it' a no brainer pick.
2. Harrison Smith, ND, SS - The 2nd best Safety in the draft can fill a huge need in the secondary. He's not the FS that we are desperate for, but he can at least make sure that Eric Smith never touches the field.
3.Chandler Jones, Syracuse, DE - Jones has been mocked anywhere from pick 16- 41; He's a raw player with HUGE upside, definitely worth the risk for a mid 2nd rounder.
So who do you got? Who are you hoping to fall in our laps in round 2?
