Should the Jets go after Wallace and Ward?

I think the Steelers have made it clear that Wallace is their guy, they plan on signing him for 6 or 7 mil, and thats the end of the story. All would be suitors can go away. Woody knows that to cross the line with the Rooneys is both unwise and considered unethical in the Good Ol' Boys Clubhouse. To swoop down and even attempt to contact Wallace's people would be frowned upon by many.

If the Steelers did not have Wallace, would Hines Ward been on the field, baring injury, more last season than he was? Would his numbers for the season be greater than they were? Can Hines Ward still play the position?

Currently the Jets do not have a "Wallace" on the team. Would that mean that adding Ward would increase his numbers from last season?

We all know that Ward is concussion prone and Sanchez is not experienced enough to keep him out of harms way.

Who needs a Burress, Holmes, Ward, Wallace starting WR tandem anyway?
