Again there is talk about Peyton Manning and he will make us playoff contenders and maybe a SB. I'm for the direction of building our team while we still have a good foundation. There was talk Peyton will get us to the SB and we need him. I was in the camp of its not worth it and Peyton is first ballot HOF but he's older and might be damaged goods. So let's give Sanchez a chance and build the team with a smart draft and FA signings. I pointed out his record in the playofffs and Peyton's losing record in the playoffs and Sanchez beat him the last time they meet in the playoffs. I get the response its a team game not 1 on 1. But then they say again Peyton will get us to the SB, that one guy. I don't even think with Peyton our team is a SB contender, we have holes to fill and we're getting older. We know what we need now and for our future and what holes we have on offense and defense so let's fix that.

I get angry everytime I look at the draft this year and see the Pats get 2 #1 picks and 2 #2 picks and they made the SB this year. So are they going to get stronger and younger, yes darn it. I'm pissed at that and pissed that our FO had no insight. The Pats wiggled their way to the SB and still have 2, 1's and 2, 2's in the draft, how can that be. Being smarter than us while we mortgage our future and team for instant results that don't happen. Then some say the Pats defense sucks and we have a better defense. On paper we do but they kick our ass twice last year, made the SB, gave up less total points and had more sacks. So who's defense is better?

Yea, Sanchez looked bad last year and I was not happy with him and not happy at our team in general. Teams are getting younger and faster and we are still thinking older. I also hope the bring Hines Ward to the Jets thoughts are gone. lol What I don't mind if we do have to get an old guy, is an older OLman to fill in and who knows what to do and help us get better by his play and example. Let's get younger and faster and we will be contenders for years to come.
