Id like to take a break from the Tebowmania and get back to thinking about the draft... Since the Jets have failed to address many of their holes in free agency, they unfortunatly will have to do so in the draft....but this may not be a bad thing...need, player value and BPA may work into the Jets favor this season....lets take a look Pick 16...To me there are a few options here...Pass Rusher, Safety, Wide Receiver...but I think the best value and greatest need will be on the line...Jonathan Martin or Cordy Glenn should be the pick...Wayne Hunter was terrible last season and either of these guys would be a upgrade...Martin was mocked as high as 9,10,11 and would be considered a good value at 16...After a amazing combine, people are starting to ask if Glenn should be higher than DeCastro..expecially since he is more versatile, he can play LG,RG or RT At 48 again there are many options...but I love the possible selection of pass rushers avalible here...the possibility of Ronnell Lewis, Jon Massaquoi, Bruce Irving, Vinny Curry, Chandler Jones or Shea McClellin being avalible at 48 is very high and they can find a great value with one of these guys... Then at 80 the Jets will dip into the talent pool of the deepest position in the draft...WR...with the possible choices of ...Ruben Randle, Nick Toon, Marvin McNutt, Brian Quick, Dwight Jones, Tommy Streeter, Jeff Fuller...the Jets can get that big physical WR to compliment Holmes and Kearley....and replace Plaxico, in the 3rd round
