This is probably a little out there.
Peyton manning is probably going to choose his team based on likelihood to win it all. If he wants to win it all, hes going to want the easiest road possible to get to the super bowl. The road is guaranteed to be more difficult if he goes to miami.
For the first time ever, I am happy that Tom Brady is in ourdivision, because I am confident that he can scare Manning away from it. Hes going to want to go to a division that is easy to lock up, or at least have only one minor obstacle in the way. If his team has enough pieces in place, he could possibly get home field advantage and have an incredibly easy road.
Even if Manning goes to the dolphins, I'd think the Pats are more likely to win the division. I think that the dolphins would definitely be wild card contenders, and likely winners too, but they will have to bust their ass to get to the Big game.
If he goes to denver (or Tennessee, and maybe Arizona), hes pretty much guaranteed the division at least, and a bye wouldnt be out of reach. I really think this is something that Manning is considering.
