Open Letter to Everyone on GGN.

Over the last season we as fans let our favorite football team get our hopes up to a point where we thought the 2011-2012 season was going to be the year we end the drought and win the Super Bowl. That hope came crashing down to a point where we lost faith in the direction of the team.

That isn’t a reason to start bashing each other through comments of a blog post. We are all grown men and women on here (Possibly Children). Majority of us wanted to make a change at the QB position. Minority of us didn’t. The super minority of us stayed neutral. Now since the majority lost because of a certain QB didn’t want to join the team due to a certain reason. Everyone is let down but when the front office makes a move to free up salary cap space. Everyone wants to jump to conclusions and create a firestorm of in-fighting. Yes, the front office made some moves that are questionable with free agency. Yes, Sanchez may not improved like we expected. Yes, Hunter and Mulligan may cause most of those problems with protecting our QB. Sorry to break it to you but it’s up to the coaching staff to make most of those shortcomings and adjust. Rex Ryan and the coach staff is the one to blame for not adjusting last season. It’s the main reason we have a new Offensive Coordinator, Wide Receiver Coach, Defensive Line Coach, and promoted an intern talented intern that helped increase our sack production to levels we haven’t seen in a while. I could keep going on about the positives of the team and if whether you like or not. Being an average team this season maybe a blessing in disguise because we are not picking late in the draft and its some mighty good players that’s going to be available without us having to jump up. We are in the perfect spot to pick up players that going to make an immediate impact and possibly help us be unstoppable for the next few years. As I read blog posts from other team sites. Almost every team in the league has more serious holes in their roster than we do. We are in the best position than the other 31 teams. You can dispute my last sentence all you want but it’s the truth. I can see the negative comments coming below about my observation of the roster but the proof is in all of the games we lost last year. They were all winnable games. We just need to plug the holes that cost us those games last season. So this is not a post about my personal preference of who we shall choose in the draft, trade up or trade down. This is about a post to show support anyone who affiliated with the team. No matter what, I’m always going to be a New York Jets fan and although we are dysfunctional at times. We always keep rooting even though we have a down season. I don’t get mad at the team. I feel heartbreak and go on an internet boycott of the team for few days until the media dies down but I always be ready for the next game rooting for the team. In this case if you're too upset with the team recent moves. Take a week break from reading anything about the team until you cool off then come back refreshed. In this case, I am ready for the draft to come. Everybody let’s focus on the future and ditch the past.
