According to reports, the Jets have hired Temple graduate assistant Mark DeLeone (son of UConn OC George DeLeone) as a defensive assistant, North Texas linebackers coach Anthony Weaver as an assistant quality control coach, and Tony Sparano Jr. as an offensive assistant.
Edit: For those of you who like to know every move the team makes.

Ummmm.... Ok.
Why is this a big deal again? Why is this even news? Or am I missing something.
Haha sorry, I should have clarified. It’s not big news. Hence the FanShot. But some people are curious about this stuff and like to see the team doing something… anything… so that’s why it was posted.

Good moves do not...
… have to be “BIG” moves. The last time I checked Football teams carry over 50 players on the roster as well as the F.O.;Scouts; Coaching Staff as well as many people behind the scenes(Film& Media etc.). A Winning Organization has a “Mission Statement” and adheres to it as well as winners from top to bottom.
The biggest problem’s this franchise faces this year beside getting the draft right are salary related(top heavy roster salaries prevent winning). The roster is young with a good core of talent but they are overpaying QB M. Sanchez(Elite QB salary) and WR S. Holmes is being paid more than if he was tagged(big mistake). These two players are being paid as if they were “D. Revis- Best player at his position”; I think they stand to earn more in 2012 than #24 and thats unfathomable. "Can you say-restructure to show AV(Actual Value). If unwilling to do so I would find competition in FA and Draft their replacements this season. This irks me more than the amount paid to W. Hunter,E. Smith and B. Scott who all belong on this plan as well. It is possible to cut them and work out new deals and “Good Team Mates” would be open to the idea to surround them with more talent(selfish players will reject this and should be jettisoned ASAP for the most we can get for them)we do not need our laundry aired in public(this prevents other teams from getting involved). This is “Football” not rocket science. Thank you for your post.

Hooray! The Lombardi Trophy is Ours!
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years." Alexander Tyler
So much nepotism on offense
I guess we’ll go for Nick Toon and Meggett’s kid. Oh and RB coach Lynn’s kid.
I wouldn't mind Nick Toon
He’s pretty underrated. He played at Wisconsin, where like 70% of the plays are running plays, and he always blocked successfully, he was both Tolzien and Wilson’s go-to guy, even though he occasionally drew double coverage, he was still a good deep threat. Doesn’t have blazing speed (he runs a 4.52) but he fights for the ball and gives it his all. Although, he benefited from Jarred Aberderis (he’s fantastic, will probably be a 2nd-3rd round pick in next years draft. Was a walk-on, too. Would love for us to have him.)
