That's what Cimini is reporting. By not cutting Hunter today, the Jets are on the hook for 2.45 million to Hunter. I do not get it. I just do not get it. Hunter's performance by published and reported metrics (hits, sacks, other QB disruptions allowed per percentage of plays) was awful. Sadly, it appeared even worse than the stats showed, when actually watching the games. This money is too much for a back up tackle. I assume they plan on letting him start again in 2012. Hate to say it, but will we now be keeping and starting Eric Smith and Mulligan next year as well?
