Snippets: Jets Draft Links
Not to be confused with Vill's comprehensive collection of Jets related stories and news, I thought that with so many people interested in the draft, why not put together a few stories from around the web that I have seen relating to some prospects the Jets may or may not be considering. I would be telling a lie if I said these would be up everyday or every week. I'll save all the stories I think are interesting and then when I have enough, I'll pop this up on one list.
So here is what I have been reading in relation to the draft over the past couple of days:
Michael Floyd speaks to the Chicago Tribune about the interrogation expected from NFL scouts after some off the field incidents during his stint with Notre Dame
The Orlando Sentinel puts together a piece on the five running backs to look out for in the draft, Richardson is there as expected and board favourite Doug Martin also makes an appearance
Wes Bunting puts out an all underrated team on the offensive side of the ball, talent that you need to be wary of that may not be grabbing the headlines. Included here is Utah State running back Robert Turbin and Boise State offensive tackle Nate Potter.
Wes also does the same thing for the defensive side of the ball. Of interest to me is Virginia's defensive end Cam Johnson and Cal's ILB Mychal Kendricks.
Sticking with the lesser know prospect angle, CBS's Rob Rang puts together a list of some Diamonds in the rough. One guy there that peaked my interest was Penn State's tight end Andrew Szczerba
Last but certainly not least, Matt Bowens of Sports Illustrated highlights some of the top defensive backs to emerge from the Senior Bowl.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years." Alexander Tyler
Does anyone know who is doing the scouting for the Jets while Clinkscales is out trying to get a GM job?
They need to make the most out of this draft.
