… want our team fixed. What happened to the new DL coach? Why is B.Edwards not being looked at? Last year we lost so much talent/leadership I thought a 9 win season would be a success, I have watched Jet games for over 40 years and do not see last year (except for the childish behavior of one WR who was frustrated) as a bad year. S. Holmes layed out for many passes this season but was doubled due to the loss of B. Edwards. We had no deep threat and (our OC was not calling plays to gain yards as much as to outsmart the opponent who knew our tendencies) did not attempt long passes which the rules favor. Tone is not worth 10 mil. and should show he is a team player by reworking his deal to help the team. He is a good WR and has helped win many games. Burris will play even better next year so lets not rush him out of town. The weakness stated was his legs, he is not a burner but will be ready and stronger this season(keep him for the right price).
I think back about the three game losing streak, Eagles were playing like the team they are, Giants were playing for their lives and so were we. What if we would had won? We were kicking their ass then one play changed it all. The final game did not matter.
So we have some guys like Sanchez ,Scott, Holmes who have not played up to their contracts. When Revis outperformed his he held out and we payed him. It is time the reverse is done, and if these guys are willing they should be kept. If not it’s time to look for replacements for next year or cut them and show the team we will not tolerate players who are me first guys who actually can be good to rid the team of at any cost(see Patriots). Do you think BB would keep anyone causing problems? I have seen him trade or cut good players to send a message, then you find a gem who needs some game time and coaching and the result is it becomes a team first. A place where C Johnson(85) can actually be a team player? A place where players take less money to play for rings, I see L.Tomlinson there next year if we decide not to keep him
The draft is not a project or developmental player pool, it is how good teams are built. If we move up it better be to get T. Richardson. That is even crazy as we have RB’s and if needed there are others available who will serve us better later, we need a T now and FA is not offering much this year. That is what we should get at 16, the S and DE/LB can be addressed in the next two rounds. Leaving round 4 for a WR/TE like Streeter. FA should be used to keep our talent then go after value and fill holes with young players(not high priced names). This team is close and I hope the FO plays it right so next year we can win the A) Division B) Conference C) SB.

… HC is quiet and reserved with the media as he does not want to add motivation to his opponent. His injury list include almost every player weekly and the team is run by him not the players,GM,fans or assistants. His formula works. He does not trade up, he trades down and trades his me first guys/overpaid guys for picks. There is always a team looking for your unwanted guys(see Oakland QB Palmer). I will get this off my chest first then worry about threads. Who is favored to win the AFC East next year?
