NFL are reporting that Cleveland are unlikely to use the franchise tag on running back Peyton Hillis. Now you may be thinking, this ain't no Browns board fool, and you're right. However over the past year, there must have been 100 mentions in here about possibly bringing in Hillis as a complement to a tough ground and pound style with SG. Well unless Cleveland have a change of hear t and pop the tag on, or unless they get a free agent contract sorted. Hillis is hitting free agency. Personally I don't think we have the financial capability to give money to someone who wants a reported $5+ mill a year at a position that is not a need, infact I don't think there is a chance in hell but stranger things have happened. 1177 yards on the floor and 477 yards through the air in 2010 show what kind of talent the guy possesses. So although I say pass, I'm not sure Cleveland should be doing the same thing.
