I've read a lot of what you guys have posted on here, looked into some new guys, and decided to put together a mock of my own. So here we Go.
Cordy Glenn OL GA
He's been looked at as an interior lineman for the majority of the draft season, but he has the body, skill set, and strength to potentially make the move to RT and be a very good one at that. I like him as either a potential Starter next year at RT, a backup who could push for snaps at RG/LG, or as a guy who will absorb everything he can from the starters, especially Brandon Moore (who will be 32 before next season starts).
Backup picks: Dave DeCastro/Riley Reiff/Whitney Mercilus
Bruce Irvin OLB WVA
This is a guy I've seen play a lot and always been interested in, but I always felt like I'd turn on the game and he'd be playing with his hand on the ground as one of 3 down linemen. He performed well from this position but I wanted to see more from him as an overall LB. Still, I love his explosion, athleticism, and upside.
Backup Picks: Vinny Curry/Mark Barron
Bobby Massie OT Miss
This is a pick that makes more sense if we can't land a higher OL prospect earlier in the draft, but a pick I really have come to like. He's a really big guy who at this point is very raw. After watching a few game films (some more flattering than others) I've come to the conclusion that I do really like this guy as a project.
Backup Pick: Vontaze Burfict
Round 4: Vontaze Burfict ILB ASU
This guy could be the X factor. He's a player coming out of college with character issues (sounds like a Jet already!) and he had an awful showing at the combine, which will make him plummet down many teams draft boards. With the possibility of Bart Scott no longer being with the team next year, Vontaze Burfict could be the caliber football player who is good enough to step in and play a lot of quality snaps next year. He's going to have to work his body into NFL shape, but he is a high level talent football player. Defines Boom or Bust
