Top 30 Jets of 2011 #s 22-19

#22

Bart Scott

77 Tackles 5 TFL 4.5 sacks 1 FF

Scott clearly had his worst season being a Jet this past year, and was only playing on running downs. He is still good against the run but a liability against the pass. I give him 1 more year as a Jet before we part ways.

Jim Leonhard

60 Tackles 1 TFL 1 FF 1(season ending) INT

I dont think people appreciate Leonhard as much as they should. Yea he might not be the best player, but hes our QB on defense. Look at what happened the last 2 years when he went down for the year. Our defense looked out of synch. I really want us to resign him and get another safety for him to play next to.

Ladanian Tomlinson

75 Rushes 280Yards 1 TD 42 Catches 449 Yards 2 Tds

LT had a solid year especially catching the ball out of the backfield. Its clear that towards the end of the season his legs started to give out, but overall not a bad year for the future Hall of Famer. He won't be back next year so we will need to pick up a 3rd RB.

#19

Plaxico Burress

45 Catches 612 Yards 8 Tds

Plax was great in the redzone. He turned us into a bad RZ team to one of the best in the league. He also had some incredibly clutch catches. But overall between the 20's Plax looked his age and looked like he hadn't run in a few years. I'd like him back but only if he's willing to come back cheap and knowing hes only going to be on the field when we are in the red zone.
