"(Holmes) felt really bad with the way things went down, and he loves being a Jet, He wants to continue to be a Jet, and we want to have him. They're (Sanchez & Holmes) cool with each other, they know they need to fix things, and they will"

????
I think Holmes was mad at Schotty and W. Hunter. The media blew it out proportion and started throwing names out there to make it look bigger than it was.
Born a Jet. Die a Jet. On XBOX Madden 2012. I Play like a Jet!!!
Blame
The blame should be on Schotty for not benching W. Hunter. Holmes is a good wr and he and Sanchez are going to light up the league next year.
Go Jets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A ray of hope...
I really do hope this is a huge turning point. Perhaps it’s like when a guy fights another guy and the guy he fights becomes his best friend. Regardless of what it is this is a good sign.
Bullshit
I’m not saying Holmes isn’t sorry, but why is Keller his mouth piece. He needs to clear the air publicly.
Haven't these guys learned anything?
Keep themselves off the airwaves/newspapers and keep this “drama” in house and behind close doors and solve it there. Just prove it and show it on the field with positive results. You know the minute things go wrong, the fingers will be aimed at Sanchez, Holmes and those “mysterious unnamed players” that want Sanchez out. No more chatter, just get to work.
Can't they just shut up?
Seriously they’ve been irrelevant for over a month now. Keller shouldn’t be providing Santonio’s mea culpa, at this point. It’s better to just say nothing, let time, or trade, heal the wound and start over when workouts start
I never came here to kiss Bill Belichick's rings. I came here to win, let's put it that way. ... I'm certainly not intimidated by New England or anybody else. Rex Ryan

Why are you guys mad about this?
If the media didn’t somehow find out about the end of this locker room debacle then it’d be a loose end to talk about for the next 7 months. This’ll probably quiet it down for the time being.
+1
Try recruiting free agents when the public image is “locker rom disarray”. Looks like they are trying to calm nerves of potential FA they may be pursuing so that they don’t charge a “dysfunctional locker room surcharge” in the negotiations with the front office.

Because some Jet fans will never allow themselves to be happy
Seriously, I bet there will be some that 30 seconds after we win the Super Bowl will go and cry in the corner. When you ask them why they are crying they will say “because we won’t win another SB for another 41 years”
España 2010 Campeones del Mundo!!!
Yeah guys
This is good. It’s good to know that they aren’t silently fueding with each other. I’m worried about this team on the field, and this is more serious then any other thing rex might say. I’m happy keller is clearing this up, because we’ve had enough people tell us how bad everything is, it’s about time someone tells us something good is happening. What’s going on over here? Where did all the optimsts go?

Whatevah
None of this means a single thing. If we’re winning next year, guys will be talking trash. If we’re losing, they will be slinging mud.
Another thing...
To go along with this mending of fences Holmes should make the effor to make it out to Jets West with Sanchez and the other passing targets on the team. Get that chemistry if he is going to be with the team long term. That would be another great step.
True
Would also be the BS test of what Keller is saying.

Some people saying Holmes should be quiet, some saying he should come out and make these statements, others saying the whole team should be quite, it’s a no win situation. Personally I think this is a positive step.

Quite frankly, I don't care what Holmes says until he starts catching some passes
Season’s over, all of you blew it, regroup and try again next year.

the fact that Keller said this
only tells me that Holmes is being genuine and does like being a Jet. i doubt Keller would say anything if it wasn’t true just to start more drama.
