Brandon Jacobs to Consider Coming to the Jets?
There are also rumors of Randy Moss coming to the Jets as well. To both I say this.

And the time to pick up Moss was after we let Braylon go before we signed Plaxico. Just sign Edwards now that we should be able to.

I would say Jacobs runs harder but the injuries and immature attitude are deal breakers.
The time to pick up Moss was in 1998. I do agree Edwards > Moss in 2012. Moss might as well join the team that T.O. owns/plays for at this point.

as for jacobs, we don’t need him, and i hate him, but i wouldn’t have an issue of being part of a rotation. Like, pound on the enemy with Greene and him, and then have them chasing after Joe Mcknight when they’re all worn out. But that’s not necessary, we’ll be fine with Greene Mcknight and Powell. Yeah, i’m willing to give Bilal a chance, remember when we all gave up on Joe?

We did him 0 favors only ever putting him on the field in obvious running situations and running him up the gut basically every touch he got. He needs to get involved in the actual offense to show us what he can do. He looked way better coming out than he showed on the field in crappy situations this past season.

The Eagles signed every available free agent “star” and look where it got them

anything to do with a scumbag who insulted our team’s head coach to his face and said he doesn’t like him? Now all of a sudden, we would attempt to sign him? Makes absolutely ZERO sense to me, but knowing the FO, they would try to do something unbelievably STUPID as that.
This guy is sad, He knows he’s pretty much done playing for giants so he’s trying to patch up every hole he’s made. Knowing there won’t be high demand for him.

If he comes for a vet minimum contract with no bonus money, I think it’s worth bringing him to camp to see if he still has anything left.

The Jets don't need to bring in any RBs...
If they really, really want to sign someone, there are better options. Steve Slaton, Tashard Choice, and Jerious Norwood would all be cheaper, fit what NYJ needs better, and have potential.

I’ll become a front runner, root for GB or Houston next season. It would make me happy if the Giants let him go, then the jets rebuff his advances in a Rex kind of way.

it would be odd to have Rex have a press conference announcing the signing of there new running back, who brings a lot of attitude and toughness to the team, and how he’ll be a valuable asset…..meanwhile we all know in the back of his mind, Rex would be calling Brandon all types of sons of bitches.
And i get all the hate for Big Boy, i understand it. but honestly, if he was drafted and came up with the Jets, you would love the guy. he is a fan favorite on this side of MetLife stadium, and truthfully his attitude would fit in great with Rex’s brash in your face team he’s built.
