Sanchez 2009 draft analysis
Not like it matters anymore, but I thought it would be interesting to see what experts were saying about him before the draft.

Yeah, I'm not sure who they were looking at but few of those things apply to Sanchez in the pros. In fact, quite opposite.
It's funny because they were saying about Sanchez is the opposite of the QB he's become
It’s sad because with proper coaching he could’ve been so much better at this point in his career.

my hope is the latter
First winner of the Golden Rex
Schottenheimer: "46 Left motion right over under bear 24 cat 65 triple left right up down on three"
Sione: "What is the offense doing?"
Rex: "I don’t know, but it won’t be a first down"
They were right about this
Consistently releases his passes before his receivers have made a break, ask Kellers helmet about that

Hmm
“He needs to be in a strong vertical attack, as he’s best throwing downfield..” , well there’s one problem.
Sounds like Sparano is aiming to play more to his strengths though. Hope he can recover his confidence.

Interesting how they called him the QB with the highest upside
That draft includes borderline pro bowler Matt Stafford. Maybe, just maybe we see Sanchez start to become a pro bowler. Well that may just be my wishful thinking
