The Jets will make a big push before the start of free agency on March 13 to get an extension completed with Pouha, a player coach Rex Ryan feels is the unheralded key to his defense, and who has been characterized as a priority. If there is no deal, though, look for Pouha to be very attractive in the market.

Cap number is like 8M.
If they pay him anywhere close to that, its too much.

It will be very interesting to see what their Game Plan is like and how it is executed compared to last summer’s disaster. If we’re not off at the getgo we’re screwed for sure. I think that Woody seriously needs to take a closer look at the FO of the Jets in 2012 and evaluate its overall effectiveness. WE should be getting better. Taking the right steps moving forward. Not the one step forward, one step back approach..we’ll never get on top and stay there with that attitude. That’s a fumbling approach. As much as I hate to say it…..look at the Pats on how they approach business. Every time I see Danny Woodhead catch or run the ball I wanna puke at the shortsightedness of our FO. And our Coaching Staff for not giving the guy a real chance to succeed. But we’ll continue to draft and play Matt Mulligan & Eric Smith types of guys and say there the best thing to come along since sliced bread. Enough of this shit. Let’s open our eyes, think outside the box, be creative, remember Shotty is not in the room any more, think freely but smartly but get it done. I’m tired of the mediocre talent drafted, acquired, results etc. Time to ratchet it up to the elite levels and play there and stay there for players, coaches & FO types. The Fans will love you for it.
