One of the most surprising things I have found about the 2012 season is the dislike people have for Thursday Night Football. I thought it was a slam dunk. Who wouldn't want an extra night of the NFL? Apparently a lot of people.

What do you think? Is it too much of a good thing? I know a lot of the matchups have been unappealing, but bad NFL beats no NFL for me. My feeling is if you think it is overkill, you don't have to watch the game. It's not like you'll be losing out. It is just an extra game for those who could use some football at the end of the week.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts, though. Am I just hanging around the wrong people? Is there anybody else out there who thinks this was a good idea by the league?
