Dear Mr. Johnson and the entire New York Jets Organization,
With fireman Ed stepping down there is a job to be filled. Who will be leading the "J-E-T-S" chants prior to, and during the game. I personally believe that I would be perfect for the job. I am a very passionate die hard Jets fan. I am 22 years old from New York. My dad has had season tickets since 1973, and hasn’t missed a game since. My dad’s passion for the Jets has made me into a diehard fan. Every day I think, and talk Jets football. I bleed green and white. Since 1997 when I was 7 years old, I haven’t missed a game. I have sat through, and cheered loud every season. I sat through rain storms, snow storms, wind storms, and perfect days cheering and chanting "J-E-T-S" to help our team gain home field advantage. I have lost my voice yelling at the games and at the T.V. during our road games.
I believe if given the opportunity I can fill the void of fireman Ed stepping down. I am not a quitter, and will cheer for my team even through the toughest of times. I want our stadium to be extra loud week in, and week out. Since moving into Metlife stadium we haven’t had a home playoff game, and our home record is 13-9. We need to improve this record and make our stadium into the hardest place to play. We need our 12th man to chant loud, and be loud every game win or lose. I love my Jets and if given the chance like fireman Ed, we will regain our home field advantage. Metlife will be the hardest place to play in the NFL on Jets game days. J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!
From,
Diehard Fan Adam
