By the end of the night, we will know a lot more about what kind of season this is going to be for the Jets. With a win over New England, the Jets will be squarely back in the postseason race. They will be 5-6 on a two game winning streak and with a relatively easy schedule ahead the rest of the way. The Jets are no great team, but there's a lot of mediocrity in the AFC race this year. It's not out of the question for the Jets to make a run.

A loss puts the Jets on life support. They would be 4-7, needing to win out and then get a lot of help to have a shot at the postseason. It would be tough to imagine such a team running off the necessary wins to make it.
