I used to think like you … See I looked at the schedule in the preseason and predicted an easy schedule for the Jets. However we have made a terrible flaw in our assumptions. You see my friend you assumed that the teams in the NFC West were pushovers… After all they were the worst division in the NFL last year! Well guess what? This year our division is the new NFC West. These teams have a very stout defense and good running game… That does not make them world beaters, But have you realized what our teams weakness is? We cant stop quick RBs and we have a QB that cant score when facing good defenses. Teams that I thought we could beat easily like the Chargers, and Titans, Have good RBs that will eat our defense alive and The Offense simply cant keep up against average defenses now that Holmes is gone. Sure we can destroy teams with bad CBs… But other than that, we cant score.

You claim we have an easy schedule, But the only easy games we have all year are the Bills, Jaguars, Colts, and MAYBE the Cardinals BUT THEY ARE 4-1 and if you cant rush the passer they are tough to beat. I see us going 8-8 this year and that’s IF we manage to get a few upsets against good teams. And in case you have not noticed I did not mention the Dolphins… Unless Bush gets injured, We are not winning that game… Tanny is the real deal, And now with 3 good WRs and a running game they should beat the Jets the next time around easily. We had Holmes and Revis through the first half and were still dominated by them. Tanni will be much better by then and we will be 3-5 and desperate. I say we try to figure out how to rebuild now instead of trying to hold on to all these overpriced and under performing players.
