I know the doom and gloom attitude is with us and and deservedly so, it looks like we really suck more that Revis and Tone is gone for the season. The complaining of the current FO and coaches are at an all time high and the fans are feeling low, I'm one of the fans feeling low but realize that we could pull this off. I've been complaining about the FO since early this year and even said many times that they have to take their heads of of their a$$, stop patting each other on the back, stop sucking each other's d**ks, and stop living on the success of 2009 and 2010.
The hope and dream is that we wake up somehow, play the younger players to have them develop and get ready for a good run. Games I think we can win: Indy, Mia, Sea, Stl, NE, Jac, Tenn, and Buff. Games we lose: Hou, NE, AZ, SD. Might win a game I thought we would lose and might lose a game or 2 that I thought we would win. But 10-6 would make the playoffs and more times than not 9-7 made it. But we need to get better in coaching, playing, and developing the team. Priority is the Oline and Dline, it all starts in the trenches. Too late to add quality players but not to late to man up and play like Jets.
They have messed up our future with the draft, below average evaluation of players, and hoping the waiver wire brings a miracle. A team like GB starts 4 rooks at times on defense and other teams rooks are coming through, why don't we have that kind of success, do our FO and coaches suck that bad. Some say looks like our rooks suck and some say they have the potential but it not there yet. Well this is the NFL and if you start, there is no long learning curve. Seems we are always searching the waiver wire for players to help us. The signing of Berry I really like but then again a head case that comes cheap that we have to hope comes through for us.
Now there is talk about Woody wanting Tebow to start, IMO its a mistake and I haven't given up on Sanchez but soon might. Even if by some miracle we make the playoffs the FO still sucks and maybe the coaches too. Like Sanchez I haven't given up on Rex but maybe he is not a HC. Example look at Wade Phillips was a average coach but as a DC this guy knows what he is doing developing a defense, look at the Texans D with him. When he was a SD a short time the D was awesome then. SD was my team until I became a die hard Jets fan when Rex and Sanchez came to town in 2009 and I had instant success as a fan, then as time went by and seeing the FO in action was very concerned. I even got direct tv and the NFL pkg so I wouldn't miss any games. Always liked the Jets for what Joe Willy did against the heavily favored Colts.
Don't give up hope fans, but if they don't get their heads out of their a$$es soon, hope will be gone in a hurry and time for more frustration and calls for CHANGES.
