Woody Johnson stated that the New York Jets have no make a move with Tim Tebow or to alter quarterback situation.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson stated in an interview on CNBC on Wednesday that the organization has no desire to trade backup quarterback Tim Tebow and that he will be with the team for the duration of his three-year contract.

Some have questioned whether the Jets would be interested in trading Tebow following the season but Johnson contended that the team had no such plans to do so. Johnson also stated that he and head coach Rex Ryan had yet to have any discussions about making a change at quarterback to relieve incumbent starter Mark Sanchez.

Johnson continued by explaining that he felt Sanchez played great in the team's latest contest against the Houston Texans on Monday night. Sanchez was 14-31 for 230 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against Houston. However, the owner avoided using the word never when discussing a potential change in the future, explaining that never is a long time.
