Over the last several weeks, one thing I notice that teams are not respecting our top RB. The first game wasn't fluke because we was at full strength and being at full strength gave us more leeway in defeating our opponent . Now the second, third, and fourth games is where we is not so lucky because teams figured out that Shonn Greene is not going to out run anyone.
One thing I have noticed that we are moving the ball down the field so it's kind of hard to blame Sparano but Sanchez I do blame for this game. His two turnovers today put a nail in our coffin. Sanchez has to learn to throw the ball away if no one is open. He's holding the ball too long. The offensive line is giving Sanchez good protection but he still making terrible decisions. Sanchez is product of a bad QB coach. Tanny and Rex should've got rid of M. Cav.
I can sit here and blame the defense for poor tackling but it does seems like the defense has been on the field longer that the offense the whole season. Also the tackling have gotten much better so it shouldn't be a problem much longer. I honestly think the defensive line and linebackers were seriously out of shape at the beginning of the season. Is it poor conditioning. They should have kept Sal Alosi.
This game was lost our poor running game and a sprinkle of bad coaching. The defense played good until the end when they were just too tired to stop the 49er rushing attack. Teams are pressing receivers early and stacking the box because they know our top RB is not going to break off a long run or score. After teams force us to quick three and outs they steadily start running the ball until the defense tires down then they go for the kill. After that we are left with having to throw on every play. Throwing every play causes teams to double the receivers after playing a whole game of press coverage That's what happened the last 3 games and it's going to keep on happening until Rex bench Shonn Greene and insert Joe McKnight or Bilal Powell as the starter.
I blame this game on Rex and him insisting to keep Greene in the game. Greene is dragging this team down. Now it's gotten to a point where injuries are starting to occur and this may tell if Rex gets fired this year. I feel that Tanny may be fired first but it's a good chance that Rex may get chopped also if we have a losing season.
