Associated Press: HC Rex Ryan should not change his style, but tone down the rhetoric.
I actually think the opposite. If Rex wants to act like a cartoon character, that’s fine, but serious changes in his approach to running this team seem necessary.

I actually think that they all drank their own cool-aid.
Rex went Hollywood and believes that he IS the caricature of himself. Mike T had an undisciplined draft last year with two throw-away picks in Scotty McKnight and Powell. Callahan thought he could make Hunter into a player and that he bring Vlad along much quicker. Rex trotted out hte WORST safety combo I’ve ever seen and stuck with it ALL year. Tanny refused to chase after real o-line help. And Schotty actually thinks he’s a good coach [sigh], and his superior continues to publicly reinforce that utter falsity [double-sigh].
These guys got freaking cocky and it blew up in their faces.
And I think the some of the players drank some cool-aid too.
