Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

As I mentioned over weekend, #Jets want to hire Dave DeGuglielmo. Now it's done, per @ArmandoSalguero. Jets remain interested in Daboll.

Per rich cimini, via twitter. Dave DeGuglielmo is the Dolphins' O-line coach...why exactly are we emulating Miami's offense so closely? I can understand the sparano hire, but his staff too?

I don't really have a problem with this

Miamis O-line issue seemed like they stemmed more from personal decisions more than anything.

Oh yes that's right, I'm a Jets fan.

I don't either

i’m moreso just worried about brian daboll. Seriously? why him of all people? My nightmare is that mark sanchez is deemed a bust here, get sent somewhere else, and becomes a stud.

I don't get it...

Miami’s OL didn’t exactly overachieve and their players didn’t show much progress. Other than Long and Pouncey, who are athletically gifted, nobody really stood out among the OL. In fact, the rookies failed to develop.

That has nothing with what I'm getting at...

Miami has a top tier LT and C as well, but DeGuglielmo did nothing much for the team. He was one coach many wanted replaced even if Sparano returned. The Jets surely could’ve picked a better candidate.

Hah, just posted something with almost the same line of thought. Nice job getting this up so quick, wish I saw it first.
