Rex on Francesa 1/20/2012
Don't know if anyone else was aware but Rex Ryan will be on Mike Francesa's radio program "Mike's On" on 1/20/2012 at 1:30 PM. It will be an interesting listen and see if Rex goes on the offensive towards Mike,a la Darelle Revis.

Rex shouldn't waste his time with that blowhard
Granted I don’t like Micheal Kay of ESPN either, but you know all Fatty is going to do is talk about the Giants the whole “interview” in an attempt to goad Rex.
ESPN, Mike Francesa, NY Post, NY Daily News, Fox Sports = Propaganda

Of course
he is going to ask him a question then cut him off and answer it for him. He is gonna try and prove he knows more about football than an NFL head coach.

Because he doesn't do the postgame on NBC anymore which was of course Mike'd Up
And NBC retains the rights to the name
Rex has said some interesting things, according to Manish Mehta and Jenny Vrentas.
Rex Ryan on Brian Schottenheimer’s system:
“Quite honestly, the verbiage that we had last season was probably a little much.”
Rex says there are things he disagrees with regarding Tomlinson’s comments. Still calling it an “isolated incident.”
Credit Rex Ryan for telling Mike Francesa that he may have put more pressure on his players with all his brash talk.
Rex Ryan on Sanchez:
“I always think competition is good regardless. I don’t think we have to light a fire under him. Mark is a motivated guy.”
Rex Ryan:
“For me to be most effective, I gotta be sitting in the classroom.” Indicated a more hands-on approach.
Go to town, commenters.
yeah that was anti-climatic
“Mike’s On” is the new title because NBC owns the right’s to “Miked Up,” and they didn’t let Mike take it when his contract ended with them.

Rex kept saying how he was wrong and admitting there were problems.
I’m guess Francesca was hoping Rex would be on the defensive, and he totally wasn’t. There was nothing for him to start a fire with.
Oh, Mike can start fire without material. All he needs is his dumb condesending laugh.

so the biggest thing I got out of it was that Mike Fran say so changed the name of his show??
I never came here to kiss Bill Belichick's rings. I came here to win, let's put it that way. ... I'm certainly not intimidated by New England or anybody else. Rex Ryan
