everyone is saying that since Holmes has an 8.5 mil cap hit it is unlikely that the Jets will cut him. I understand that they dont want to be responsible for over 8 mil for a guy not on the roster, but people are also saying that is the reason they wont trade him. That doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't that mean the Jets would shed 8.5 mil if for example they traded him for like a 4th or 5th rounder (thats all we can expect with his behavior issues)?
