New York Jets 2012 Opponents Are Known

The Jets now know their opponents in the 2012 season.

With the conclusion of the 4:15 games, all 16 of the Jets' 2012 opponents are known. The NFL will announce the full '12 schedule in April. Here are the Jets' home opponents: Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders (second place team in the AFC West).

And the eight road opponents are the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers (second place team in the AFC North).

At this point, it is worthless even guessing how easy or tough this schedule will be. We do not know what any of these teams will look like. Free agency, the Draft, and injuries will happen. Some teams come out of nowhere to be good and others go from good to bad.

I think it depends what week the game is in

If it’s early in the season, Manning will be rusty after taking a full year off; so Manning. Later in the year, Luck will be worn down from the long season; so Luck. In the middle of the season, we’re not going to have an easy match-up either way.

Just on the quick look of it…..not too bad a schedule. Thankfully no Ravens and we get a chance to knock the crap out of Big Ben. Should be a dandy of a home game with the 49ers. Hopefully we’ll have an offense that can run & gun to out duel them. Lastly, geez, we got to play the friggin Raiders again…what is this some sort of bizarre curse? Well at least its at home.

Yeah

It seems for the past 5 years the Jets have played Oakland away. About time Oakland comes east.

Both

The ideal would be to face Luck as Indy’s QB with Manning finally providing the leadership at QB that the Jets have missed since Joe Willie ……

This is awesome!

We usually suck on the road but now we will have pretty easy opponents. * Fist pump *

If someone tells you that you can't do it then f*** it. Keep going.

deffinitely pre- mature but..

9-7 at best..you gotta think this is gonna be a whole new team in green and white next year. new coaches and players. 9-7 at best – i know its way way to early.

Yeesh

Niners, Texans, Steelers, Titans and a probably improving Raiders team. Not easy at all…

ehhh

I’m not liking having to play seattle at centurylink, that’s a real tough place to play. And that team is getting better too.
