Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens Game Thread

The AFC Playoffs continue today as the Texans head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. The winner gets a trip to Foxborough next Sunday to take on the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game and will be the favorite team of every Jets fan in a week.
I like the Ravens in this game. I think this would be a much more interesting game if the Texans were healthier, particularly if they still had Matt Schaub. Baltimore is a very difficult place to go with a one dimensional offense. Houston can run it effectively, but it will be difficult for them to come out with a win unless they make big plays in the passing game. I am not sure T.J. Yates will be able to do that. I think the Texans are probably going to have to score some points on defense and/or special teams to stay in this.

I'm kinda split on who i want to win this game
I can’t stand the Ravens and think it’s kinda nice that the texans are having success, but I think the Ravens have a better chance to win next week…
i like how they involved LT in the sports analysis on ESPN...not just an interview

I got nothing but respect for the Ravens organization, at the same time I remember when the Texans first stepped out onto that field 10 years ago with David Carr, now they're in the playoffs.
I wanna see Ray get one more ring though. Would be great to see a living legend retire on top like that.

I’d prefer the texans in the first playoffs to really do something interesting. They have def struggled as an orginaztion plus Kubiak was on the hotseat all last year.

This is my problem
Everyone wants to taut their show as the best thing to happen to estrogen-laced comedy since Lucille Ball on sliced bread. For every “New Girl” there’s a “Whitney” or “2 Broke Girls” answer on another network every season, and they’re all trying to force the same thing down our throat; unfunny women posing as the opposite.
I really don’t think the explanation is sexist, I just think America has a horrible standard in terms of what we call Comedy. Anybody with a youtube account who can make dumb facial contortions is all of the sudden a comedian. Major networks belt out aforementioned crap and just stick marginally attractive girls in major roles to hedge their bets because they know at least some bored male demographic will watch it.

I actually think if the 2012 started right now ( including resting and a new locker room bond ) then we could already be up to 10-6 counting the facts that ground and pound is back and we have an easy schedule. But we would be on and done in the playoffs.

hye I was looking at the Patsies schedule, and they lost both games to teams with winning records
and Bills game loss, all their wins came against teams with losing records or 500 teams, unfortunately the Ravens except for beating the Steelers and 49ers aren’t that great either
i thought i was the only one that noticed that
and they barely got out alive against teams like the dolphins, redskins and cowboys
well I would rather see the Ravens win since they have more experience playing the Pats
and might be more motivated to knock them out than the Texans, but it can’t be denied that all the teams that give the Patriots are hard time are out the playoffs in the AFC

but all of the remaining teams are built to either staunchly defend or to engage in shootouts. The Ravens or any of the NFC teams have the potential to undo the Pats.
