"Mark is my boy! Point blank. I wouldn't have wanted a different QB to lead the team that I was on for the past 3 seasons!"
There have been quite a few Jets publicly sticking up for Sanchez today. I'm not going to post everything, but I wanted everyone to get an idea of the players who are actually putting their names out there for Mark. Just proves we don't know what's really going on in the locker room.

Cro also has Mark's back
The thing that sucks is ESPN probably won’t report on the positive remarks coming from teammates and Manish probably won’t report much either.
I’m starting to think there may be something to the theory of Schotty being Manish’s “unnamed source”.

Could Manish's anonymous sources have been a good thing for the jets
Despite all the chaos surrounding our team right now, the way the looker room as rallied against these anonymous sources and behind Mark may be exactly what everyone in this looker room needed. With the season over, players dont have a common enemy to unite against, now they do and for the first time in a while there seems to be some pride in this locker room and for what it means to be a JET.

Bills are talking to him as well
I hope the win this one, I’m not very familiar with him but I don’t think the mastermind behind the Chad Henne project is a guy I’d like around FP

Anyone else want to hop on the conspiracy train and think that this was a plant? The Mehta article was planted to see the unity of the locker room.

Doubt it very much
What if it backfired? I suspect it was just one person and Manish blew it out of proportion. On NFLN and ESPN today he kept refusing to state how many people it was, which leads me to think it was some no-name joke that probably won’t be on the team next year anyway.

That's my feeling as well, but I just thought it would be amusing rabbit hole to jump down.

What blows my mind is one 8-8 season and no playoffs and all this drama happens. Imagine we went 2-14. Holy shit

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if some of the guys who come out publicly for Sanchez are the same guys who bad mouthed him anonymously to Mehta. I don’t think anybody will want to own up here and jeopardize themselves with Rex and Tanny.

I'm pretty sure that Mehta would have called them out if they spoke up for Mark after stabbing him in the back.

I think they should put up a new piece of wall art in Florham Park...

It goes SLIGHTLY against Rex’s open communication policy. But I think the point would get across.
Watched ESPN yesterday
and even Damian Woody said the same thing… We seen it on Hard knocks, and we see it during the season and they do baby Sanchez. We keep focusing on who is saying it, but how about if we find out if its true? We need to at least bring in a back up that cann push him to stop acting like a kid, and be our QB
This whole babying thing kind of bugs me. Kid QB with one year of college football coming to the toughest media market in the country. Isn’t it kind of right to baby him? Did the babying thing bother them when they were going to the title games the last two seasons? And he was one of the last guys you can blame as the reason they lost those games. While Sanchez had a shitty year without a doubt, and I would try to get Peyton Manning in a second, these complaining players are just blaming Sanchez instead of looking in the mirror. I would guarantee you that every player that pointed a finger at Mark was a player that had a poor year. You think someone like Revis, Mangold or David Harris would say things like this?

He doesn't seem young and immature during interviews
The guy gives some of the most boring and dry interviews I’ve ever seen. At times Sanchez came across as immature on Hard Knocks but the guy was 23 at the time and there were quite a few guys who were acting goofy and immature on that show. Isn’t that what guys do when they get together?

Also, it seems people often forget...
but Mark Sanchez, and his teammates, are all people. I saw someone on Twitter lambasting Kenrick Ellis for having a thought that is not football-related. These guys need to have fun, need to decompress. And I remember something from Hard Knocks during preseason, where I think Braylon told Sanchez in the huddle that he was fatter than Rex Grossman, and it made him laugh and eased him up. It let him have fun, and suddenly he was letting it rip.
I think fun feeds into his confidence level. If you ask me, at least a little more fun (mixed in with hard work, done the right way) is probably in order around Florham Park.
He picked his nose an wiped in on Brunell...
Isn’t that what guys do when they get together?
Not me. I'm tough as nails.

PLZ just say no
No Manning; if we are “rebuilding” now where do you think we would be 2 years from now cause believe me we would sell the farm just to have him consider playing here. And for what 1-2 years at best…if we bring him bring him as a QB coach NOT A PLAYER
David Lee
is hot trash. We need a real QB coach not a loser like this.
