8-7 Dallas Cowboys vs. 8-7 New York Giants
The winner wins a division full of mediocre teams.
SUNDAY NIGHT IS FOOTBALL NIGHT!
In all seriousness, the Giants meet the Cowboys tonight with the NFC East title on the line. The winner gets the 4 seed and a home game next weekend in the NFC Playoffs. The loser gets a long and bitter offseason to think about all the winnable games it let slip away and has to watch its bitter rival celebrate a division title. Lord only knows what to expect from these two inconsistent teams. Nothing would surprise me.
Also feel free to use this space to mourn the untimely demise of the Jets' season. Time will tell if the Giants join them as a monument to the mediocrity that is New York football in the 2011 NFL season.
