I have been saying this for almost 2 years now; As LONG as Mark Sanchez is the Jets QB, they will never get to the Super Bowl. Todays debacle only reinforces my opinion. Here are my reasons: 1st off, Sanchez is to slow in his thinking (thought processes) and then reacting to all the different situations that occur after the ball is snapped. He is not a pocket passer and constantly has to roll out much to much to be an effective downfield passer. Because of his size limitation he has way too many passes batted down at the line of scrimmage (almost 3 a game on average) Game after game he plays scared, afraid to be hit and take a sack. Not even mentioning his inaccuracy as a passer, but todays game is a shinning example of his many shortcommings as a QB. In todays game: 3 Interceptions, 2 by Lineman and 1 by a Linebacker, all caused because he can't see over Lineman 4 or 5 inches taller than he is. Especially when they get a few feet from him, as occurred in today. Add in an OC who is much to conservative and Sanchez's inadequaciesare are further amplified. In my humble, Trade Sanchez and the Jets #1 pick in the upcoming draft to a team, high up in the draft that needs a QB, for their #1 pick. Maybe we can get someone who is Taller and Faster thinking, who doesn't play scared and at a Minimum, is just as Accurate/Inaccurate as Sanchez shows week after week. It's about time to Bite the Bullet and admit that Sanchez is NOT the Answer and Never will be, even If the OC is dismissed, as should happen as well.
