Another disappointing loss this week, this time to the hand of the Dolphins.
It's so frustrating to see our team struggle so much, when we had so much potential. The Jets were one of the favorites to win the Superbowl prior to the season, so to see them miss the playoffs is unbelievable, yet bittersweet. Yes, of course I wanted to see the Jets make the playoffs, and I was really hoping for everything to roll our way today, but it didn't. However, even if the Jets made the playoffs, it's difficult to think that they would be equipped to make a serious run. There are some benefits of not making the playoffs. We end the season with all of our weaknesses cruelly exposed, which should lead to some major changes this offseason.
This team needs to work on getting the proper personel; both players and coaches to make a run next year. They need to work on playing neat football, as they have been very sloppy all year long.
I'm as frustrated as you are, but hopefully we will have a tremendous offseason and following season to look forward to next year.
