"U.S. officials said Thursday evening they have "specific, credible but unconfirmed" information about a potential threat against the United States coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks." If I were a Terrorist I would consider this weeks Jets/Dallas game to be the perfect target.
It is on 9-11. It is on national TV. There will be a ceremony to commemorate the lost lives. There will be a Mob of people so no one will will receive much attention. Finally there are the difficulties posed by the tailgating parties. People prepare food, therefore there are many tanks of propane gas and a lot of unchecked boxes of food and coolers of beer. At the very least be on guard if you attend the game. I believe the City of N.Y. or the Jets should decide to restrict tailgating parties at this game. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
