Revis
Okay one of my friends is an incredibly biased Eagles fan. After last year he said that Asante Samuel had a more impressive season than Revis and still believes that Samuel is a better corner than Revis (yet he is the third best corner on his team, i know). Bear in mind, this is the same kid who says thatt until Revis goes an entire season without giving up a touchdown, Sheldon Brown is better.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew Revis' line from the Jags game. I saw that against Dallas he allowed 2 catches on 11 targets for 33 yards with a pick but I haven't been able to find his numbers from this week anywhere. Anyone wanna help me out or direct me somewhere where I can find the answer?

If you got to look up stats for this comparison, you are wasting your time.
Your friend sounds like no matter what evidence you bring he will still be a non-believer in Revis. There isn’t a non-bias football fan in the country who think Samuel is better then Revis.
I don't need to look up stats
But I just want him to shut up about it already so there is no better way than through showing him the numbers

Samuel probably did have a better year last year, but that’s just because Revis was either out or playing hurt a third of the season. When both are healthy, Revis is twice the corner. Talk to me when Asante matches up with Reggie Wayne most of the game one on one and holds him to 1 catch for 1 yard.
Asante is really only good in off zone coverage. He takes a lot of chances and can get burned. Revis is great in any kind of coverage.

His week one stat line is bad for Revis.
That’s basically all the proof you need.

I'm curious
I didn’t see the game, so forgive my ignorance, but how did Samuel do in the Eagles loss to the Falcons? I’d expect a team with 3 pro bowl corners to have a defense a little stingier than giving up 35 points.
not sure but i think iread he only had 2-3 passes thrown his way.
i dont remember a catch made but i could be wrong. i do remember the announcer going on about Revis covering the WR so tight you couldnt even SEE the receiver.
