True to their form a year ago, the Jets scored a dramatic comeback victory tonight at the Meadowlands over the Cowboys to go 1-0. Gang Green was outplayed through much of the contest. They overcame a 14 point deficit with some timely plays. There were plenty of stars in this one, but none shined brighter than Nick Folk, who used to wear a blue star on his helmet and added to his legend in New York by nailing a 50 yard kick to win it in the final minute.

No game can ever take away what happened ten years ago today in New York. On a difficult day when people in this area had to remember its worst day, the Jets rose to the occasion and gave us a reason to feel good if only for a fleeting moment.

The official recap will be up as soon as I can get it there. Celebrate below.
