Tracy Wilson could be a force

I was hoping that our beloved NYJ was gonna take a flyer on one of these Supplemental Draft kids (hoping for UNC's McAdoo) and it turns out we've brought in Safety Tracy Wilson from Northern Iowa. This kid would've definitely been drafted if he were eligible in April and he's definitely a hard hitter. If he's in shape we could see him on ST right away. Here's a copy/paste scouting report from the internets...

Height / Weight: 6-2 / 203 Position: SS 2010: Projected starter played in eight games and started three at strong safety as a junior. Sidelined, then slowed, much of the season by a severe hamstring injury suffered in the Illinois game (9-18). Did not play at all during a five-game stretch (Sept. 25 to Oct. 23), returned for one series versus Western Michigan (10-30), then sat out the Toledo (11-9) game before returning to action for the final four games. Totaled 35 tackles, 15 solo, recovered two fumbles and picked off one pass. Led the Huskie defense in tackles with 10 stops, six solo, in the season opener at Iowa State (9-2), while recording his first career interception. Picked off Cyclone QB Austen Arnaud and returned the ball 26 yards to the ISU 23-yard line just before halftime. Recorded a game and career-high 13 tackles, including a half tackle for loss, against North Dakota (9-11). Made three stops at Illinois before the injury. Tallied three tackles and recovered a fumble at Ball State (11-20). Credited with four tackles and a fumble recovery versus Eastern Michigan (11-26). Had a pair of tackles in the Humanitarian Bowl game versus Fresno State (12-18). 2009: Started all 13 games at safety. Led Northern Illinois with 93 tackles while logging more snaps than any other NIU defender. Posted his third double-digit tackle performance with a game-high 10 stops versus Central Michigan (11-27). NIU's leading tackler in six games, and made a career and team season high 11 tackles at Wisconsin (9-5). Earned NIU defensive skill player of the week honors for the Wisconsin game, and again versus Ball State (11-12) when he had seven tackles. Consistent and reliable safety who totaled at least seven tackles in 10 of the Huskies 13 games. Made four tackles and had a season-high two pass break ups against Eastern Michigan (11-5). Compiled eight stops each in games against Purdue (9-19) and Idaho (9-26), while tallying a tackle-for-loss against Purdue. Had 10 stops, including four solo stops, versus Western Illinois (9-12). Totaled seven stops each in games against Western Michigan (10-3), Miami (10-24), Akron (10-31), Ball State (10-12) and South Florida (1-3). Also was credited with a tackle for loss and a pass breakup versus the Broncos. Had two tackles against Toledo (10-17) and five tackles at Ohio (11-21) 2008: Played in all 13 games at safety, including a start against Miami (OH) (10-11). Ranked fourth among defensive backs with 43 tackles, including 22 solo and one for loss. Totaled career-highs with seven tackles and four unassisted stops versus Toledo (10-18). Made six tackles against the RedHawks. Accumulated four tackles, including one TFL, in the Independence Bowl against Louisiana Tech (12-28). Made at least four tackles in seven of eight games from 9-27 (Eastern Michigan) through 11-18 (Kent State). Against the Golden Flashes, made four tackles and recovered a fumble that he returned 12 yards. Tallied three tackles and a pass break-up against Indiana State (9-20). Also had four tackles each against Eastern Michigan, Tennessee (10-4), Ball State (11-5) and Central Michigan (11-12)
