Robert Turner will get an MRI on his ankle after he left the preseason opener against the Texans injured according to Cimini.
Offensive lineman Rob Turner, carted off the field in the first quarter of Monday night's loss with an ankle injury, will have an MRI exam Tuesday to determine the severity.
I suppose the good news is that it is not a knee problem, which was what I assumed when I saw his leg twist awkwardly. I do not want to oversell what Turner does because he is a backup at the end of the day. He does see time as an extra blocker when the Jets go big, though. In addition, while he is not a Pro Bowler, he is adequate. That makes him a lot better than pretty much any backup lineman we saw from the Jets last night.think of how many shots Greg McElroy took in that game.
