Michael McAdoo: Supplemental Draft Prospect

Defensive End, UNC, 6-6 248

From Mocking the Draft:

In two seasons with North Carolina, McAdoo had 29 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. While he never started a game for the Tar Heels, he showed flashes of incredible pass rush ability. In 2010, McAdoo was named MVP of the UNC spring game when he had our sacks and an interception.

McAdoo was among those UNC players that were suspended for the 2010 season.  But McAdoo's suspension was more for plagiarism rather than improper contact with an agent.

I can't find any film on him, and the skimpy Mocking the Draft scouting report is about the comprehensive one I can find on him.  But the word seems to be that he's a guy that has loads of talent.  And his physical frame-work seems to indicate precisely that.  I love the long and athletic type.  Guys that can really leverage the edge and use their length to make plays.

I can't say what pick he would be worth since I haven't seen him play.  But I can say that if we did snatch him up, I'd pretty damn excited about it.  UNC seems to be pumping out high draft picks lately, and if thats an indication of anything it probably means this kid has talent.
