I was reading reports this week that Nnamdi could command close to 19 Million a year in his upcoming contract. It could be the largest contract EVER in the history of the league.

I won't get into the long discussion how insane that is considering hes only a CB and shouldn't be making more than a franchise QB......we can discuss that later.

However, I do think as Jet fans we have to hope he signs for as low as possible. The headaches next year we will have with Revis will be far worse then his lockout last year. Click the link if you have no idea what I'm referring to...

Revis admitted if he plays at a great level he will hold out again for more money. While many will argue he deserves a lot, there is no way I want our franchise to be paying ANYONE 19 million a year. That money could go to 2-3 top players at other positions. Not even Peyton manning is worth that in my eyes.

Bottom Line: Hope teams do not go overbored. It will be disastrous.
