Pat Kirwin at NFL.com has continued in a trend NFL.com has been doing in rating certain positions and teams. In his list of the Top 50 NFL Wide Receivers three members of the Flight boys have made the list, being Jerricho Cotchery, Braylon Edwards, and Santonio Holmes. Jerricho was listed at around number 42, Braylon was at around 32 and Santonio was at around 12 with the likes of Marques Colston, Brandon Marshall, Hakeem Nicks, and Mike Wallace. I like where Holmes is and I can understand where the other two lie but I am also intrigued behind some of the players on the list and where they are. One example is how Bengals rookie AJ Green and Falcons WR Julio Jones are already on the list above J-Co and in the same group as Braylon. I don't understand how someone who hasn't played a down can beat someone who has played years in the league and has come up big in certain situations. As well, as painful as it is for me to say but how can Wes Welker be in the same group as Brandon Lloyd, a perennial bust with a great season against someone who has had practically three years of over 100 catches, including a game where he tore us apart in NE, and who came back from a devastating knee injury to have a productive season. I like the effort but I think some receivers are in places they shouldn't be. Any thoughts about it?
