After QB the Titans need help all across the defensive line. They started rebuilding their line last year with Derrick Morgan. Unfortunately Morgan never saw any regular season game as he was put on IR during the pre-season. At this point their were several ends and tackles available for the Titans.
Ultimately the best player was probably Paea. Paea is a super explosive player who can not only collapse the pocket but also stop the run. The best thing he has working for him is his outstanding upper body strength as he was able to log 49 reps on the bench press during the combine. But Paea is not a one trick pony, he has good quickness and decent speed to compliment his strength.
If their is one thing to be concerned about it would be Paea's knee injury. He has had knee problems since 2008 and it has effected him recently, forcing him to miss the Senior Bowl. In addition, Paea does not have much of a pass rush moves opting to use raw physical tools. Some have mistakenly cast Paea as a pure 4-3, defensive tackle, but due to his outstanding strength Paea could probably play nose tackle as well.
