Bilal Powell midseason highlights (via linkubus7)
5-10, 205, 4.5 forty
The more I watch this guy on tape, the more I like him. To me, he's a more athletic, more explosive version of Shonn Greene. And I think he would compliment Greene well. Like Greene, Powell runs with authority. He makes one cut and he gets up field... fast and hard. If he can't run past you, then he'll just as well run through you. His style is better suited for the Ground and Pound vision Rex has for his offense than Tomlinson is. Powell will wear down defenses. While Tomlinson can make a guy miss here and there, he doesn't impose his will in games any more. Tomlinson also seems to be impeding the progress of Greene. Its time for the former great to move on down the road. Powell runs with the explosiveness and the power to steal the hearts and minds of opponents late in games.
