Kyle Rudolph vs. Michigan State (2010) (via DocHoIidaze)
Now I feel like an idiot. I wrote up a whole write up on Justin Houston, hoping the Ravens wouldn't grab him, and what do they go and do? They pick Justin Houston.
Their next need is a sold #2 WR to line up across from "Rowdy" Roddy White. The idea here is to give their franchise QB more weapons to dissect defenses. A 1st round option might be john Baldwin.
On the other side of the ball, there is the need for brand spanking new pass rusher. Our beloved John Abraham will turn 33 in May. He's set to enter the last year of his contract. A young guy like Houston could step right in and rotate with Kroy Biermann, until he takes over full time for Abraham.
In most of the recent drafts, some team has picked a TE in the late 1st round. We did that with Dustin Keller, and we are quite satisfied with that pick. I believe the Falcons will be that team this year. This is a weak class for Tight Ends, but Kyle Rudolph is clearly the best of the bunch. I know most of you guys have Julius Thomas as the 1st TE off the board. At 6'6" 259 pounds, Kyle is a huge target, and would be a great replacement for Gonzo.
