Justin Houston, an outside linebacker from the University of Georgia with experience in a 3-4 scheme, is a guy many believe could be on the radar of the Jets at pick 30. He would fill a need, and his Draft value matches with where the Jets will be picking. Cimini, however, has found somebody who makes a startling comparison.

Keep seeing the Jets linked to Georgia DE/OLB Justin Houston in some mock drafts. He's a workout phenom with very good production, but a longtime scout told me he takes plays off and doesn't have linebacker instincts. Said the scout, "A scout from another team told me, 'This guy is like Vernon Gholston.' He's right." Uh, oh.

Now this is only one person who is making the comparison. We do not know whom it is. Remember, though, that most of Cimini's sources are presumably with the Jets. The team is probably so sensitive and scared of another Gholston disaster that one wonders how reports like this might impact its thinking.
