The Jets had their top pick in Florham Park today:

"It's a dream come true," Wilkerson said. "Once my name was called last night, it was just tears of joy bringing in that moment.

"It's just crazy though, to be a Jet. Right here, just to play in my (home state) of New Jersey, I'm a New Jersey kid, it's an awesome feeling."

Wilkerson has a ton of potential and probably the best coach he could have to develop him. We have seen the job Rex Ryan has done to get guys like Sione Pouha and Mike Devito to consistently use their strength and proper technique to win their battles up front. I am sure being taken so close to home where all of his family and friends will be around and able to see him develop as a player makes this especially sweet.
