Having gotten one of the BPAs for CB for the Steelers in the 1st round they need a desperate boost in OL assistance overall. At the 61st pick he's a slight reach given he was supposed to go about round 3 or 4 but I think they need the boost. Played for most of his starts at Left Tackle a good change could come if he starts at Right Tackle to help replace or relieve Flozell Adams. While Adams has said he wants to go for a 14th season he clearly isn't a long term answer and even when he on the line he didn't have that much of a impression in recent memory. Pinkston has a high football IQ and is incredibly athletic, however at the combine he's shown some problems and there are questions of durability and whether or not he will push ahead to reach the extra mile. That being said however, he has great raw strength and a may be a project if the Lockout holds strong, but with a bit of time and some rotations on run downs I think he can become a vicious starter by year 2 and a situational Tackle in his first year.
