Goodbye, Kenric Ellis

I just read where several draft gurus are now projecting Kenric Ellis as a 2nd round pick.  If many NFL execs feel this way, then sadly I think we probably will have to forget about Ellis.  I think he would be an absolute terror for opposing teams in Rex's D, but if the Jets traded down into the 2nd round so they could take him,  every top OLB prospect would be gone, and they'd have to probably trade up in the 3rd to even get a chance at a lower-tier OLB prospect like Chris Carter or Dontay Moch, neither of whom have prototypical size and Moch is very, very raw.  I think they absolutely must address the pass rush with their top pick (be it at #30 or following a trade down into the 2nd)  Hopefully, that OLB will also have the speed and skills to drop into coverage and blanket TEs and RBs over the middle as well, but even if not, they have to get someone who can consistently pressure opposing QBs.
