GGN Mock Draft, Pick 10, Washington Redskins: Robert Quinn, DE/OLB, North Carolina

The Redskins missed their pick so I am making it for them.

There is a clear need at quarterback, but there is no value here with Blaine Gabbert and Cam Newton gone. The same goes for wide receiver with A.J. Green and Julio Jones off the board.

The Redskins can use help all across the board defensively. Mike Shanahan has stated that adding a top pass rusher to play across from Brian Orakpo in Washington's 3-4 defense is a top priority. Quinn makes for a logical choice. He is very highly regarded due to his athleticism, which many believe will help him make a successful transition to being a stand up rush linebacker. Despite a suspension for a year in 2010 as part of UNC's agent scandal, his stock will probably not fall far.

The Houston Texans and the Minnesota Vikings are up tomorrow in our GGN mock. If you are GM for one of those teams and will not be able to make it, please let me know.
